A little bit about your teacher...
Welcome to Mr. Paskvan's web-site. I hope through this web-site, to have a constant way for parents and students to check what is going on in class. If you have any questions, please call or e-mail at your earliest convenience.
Here's a little bit about me...
My name is Mr. Christopher Paskvan and this is my sixthyear teaching at Esperanza Middle School. Together, we can allow each child to strive for success in math. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Middle Grades Education: Mathematics and Social Studies from Ashland University. I just graduated with my Master’s of Science in Administration and Supervision from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. I am excited to be given the opportunity to teach your child this school year. As a teacher, I received honors for the last few years. SMECO honored me as Math Teacher of the Year in 2008-2009 and Esperanza voted me Teacher of the Year for the 2009-2010 academic year. I am currently striving to achieve National Board Certification in the field of adolescent mathematics.
I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and have always known I was going to be a teacher. I received my degree and quickly found a job in beautiful St. Mary's County. I fell in love with the weather and have found myself submerged into a fun life in Maryland.
Mr. Paskvan's Interests:
Cleveland Browns Football (I know, sad....)
Cleveland Indians
Bowling
Fishing
Cooking
Learning
Video Games (For the kid inside me)
